Hi I'm new here, Female looking for advice for my partner who's mid fifties and has been suffering from occasional (now more regular) ED for a couple of years and has now noticed a slight curve upwards which we believe to be Peyronies (last few months) , the combination of both is making penetration and maintaining erection during sex near on impossible. He doesn't seem to have a massive bend in my opinion although I have no idea how to measure it, however I think we are both concerned about it getting worse and I am worried that he will get more and more scared to try intercourse in case it causes pain or injury. We have a very close and loving  relationship and sex is a part of that too, while I love him whatever the outcome may be - I obviously want to do everything I can to support him In improving this condition. GP has suggested to watch and wait for a year - but what am reading on here tells me early intervention has the best success. What does everyone suggest? We have thought about trying a pump of some kind, but no idea where to start! What's are people's thoughts and experiences? And what about medication? I've read about ciallis 5mg daily being helpful?

Seeing an andrologist-male medicine is key.  At least a urologist experienced in the treatment of peyronies as well as erectile dysfunction.  It may be something as simple as low testosterone level-something theGP could order but probably better from the specialist as often total testosterone can be normal but still not available to his system for different reasons.  There is a female forum on this site as well and I'm sure stabler will reach out to you re that soon.  If he would check out this site re peyronies I'm sure he'll find support.  There is also FT which is a forum re ED-many are members of both.  He's lucky to have you on his side, good luck.

Hi Dee Dee, you can get medical help from NHS, see your GP and ask to see a urologist at your local hospital, you can pill for his ED and VED for his Peyronies Disease, all on prescription.
