Hi all,

I am suffering from ED since 18 when I suppose I did some damage to my penis or suffer from degenerative disease.

My VL was diagnosed by caversonometry and unfortunately I have quite a lot leaky veins. Doctors tryed to correct my condition by ligation of the dorsal vein (21). It had somewhat good results in the beginning but now I am back to the state before operation. I am planned for sclerotization of the periprostatic venous plexus this Sunday so that might help me.

What are your suggestions for treating VL? I underwent 3 dopplers without visible fibrosis or plaque. I take 2,5 mg Cialis daily to keep good blood flow.

Thanks

Hey if you show no signs of peyronies you should next get blood test to see testosterone levels. You have probably already done this so you most likely have pelvic floor issues.

Pelvic floor is BS

Believe me you dont have pelvic floor problems

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16104916 this is just one study for a weak pelvic floor. if there was an additional study that did pelvic lengthening and alternative to kegels for strengthening im sure the number would be much higher of people who have resolved their ed

yeah and nobody heals with that. Thats BS it solves nothing its not a problem of pelvic floor, pelvic floor is an excuse for you to think that you can cure easily doing a series of exercises and stretches that are worth nothing and its going to cure noone

He said he has had three ultrasounds and has had ed for years without any sight of calicification. For him it is most likely not peyronies. read the post

Just do 60 set ups everyday for 8 weeks and touch your right ear with your left hand then your VL will be completely cured.

Believe what you want. It doesnt cure venous leak for sure.

Ds300

In men without peyronies and with pelvic floor problems it can .venous leak is a blanket term for ed not caused obesity or bad dier. There are tons of studies on this if you dont want to believe documented studies thats your issue.

Hey Parralel have you considered Pycnogenol at all, don't know if you can get it easily in your Country?

Pycnogenol likely helps somewhat with venous leakage (although I don't know of any study that proves that).  Why do I say that?  Because Pycnogenol lowers inflammation, improves lipids, lowers blood pressure and, perhaps most importantly, improves collagen synthesis. 150mg a day and it takes time to take effect, after 2-3 weeks drop it down to 80mg per day.

If you try it be aware of symptoms such as dizziness etcetera

I hope you get some resolve as venous leakage must be a sh!^^y situation to be in.

Thank you guys for the comments! I have tried pelvic floor exercises but with poor results. I will give it a go though!! I remember being totally ok at 18 and the EQ drop was in a matter of a week. So I guess that there must have been some trauma. I do not have any curve of my penis or palpable plaque, calcification. The damaged tissue might be visible only by MRI.

I have been struggling with ED for 5 years and live practically in celibacy. I want a cure for good, I signed up for injections, stem cells, more ligation. The idea of prosthesis is not scary at all as I see what I am missing.

I can get Pycnogenol, do you think it will help me? My problem is blood outflow, my inflow is great and I am overall very fit.

Have you tried viagra or cialis yet?  Or if you get erections easily, a cockring tonmaintain it?

I have been taking 2,5 mg Cialis daily for the past two months and before sex I take 100mg Viagra, still hard to maintain erection. Last time I lasted 15 minutes without climax then it went down. When I use cockring I lose any sensitivity down there and cannot climax as well. Alprostadil is better but I still have semi erection 2-3 EHS.

Sounds like bimix or trimix injections is your next option.  Just be absolutely sure to compress the injection site for 8-9 minutes after injection to stop all internal bleeding and any resultant microtrauma.

Hi Parralel!

I noticed that you say that you were planned to get sclerotization of the periprostatic venous plexus today. If you actually had this operation and you'd feel comfortable to share your opinion on the results, I'd like to hear that. Feel free to send me a PM if you prefer it.

Thank you!

Parralel

Hi,

They could not reach it beacause of complex venous structures in perineum. They sclerotised my scrotum, where I had varicocele though. This might boost my T production. I will see my uro on 10/16 about further operation.

I am considering T boosting therapy like Clomid to help me raise my T.

Thanks

I tested alprostadil in the hospital and the maximum dose gave me very little erection. I will try it along with cialis and viagra with my gf an hopefully it will be better.

Today, I visited local stem cell clinic. They will send me spending plan and costs. The price of stem cell injection seems to be 1777 USD in Czech republic.

You will not heal by doing pelvic floor exercises. You'll come back after a year and you'll stay the same. but you think so, that's the easiest

I have been on this forum for 15 years.  I have never known a man that reversed erectile dysfunction for any sustained period (a year) and men have discussed pelvic floor here for MANY years.

I wish you luck but you will either disappear or come back and tell us it does not work.  I hope I am wrong.  I will put it in my calendar.

Hmm I appreciate your honesty but that's not what I wanted to read  :( I just received my results from doppler ultrasound today which showed signs of venous leak. I'm hoping there is something I can do apart from surgery as the reading indicated a minor leak - outflow of 6-7 cm/s when anything >5cm/s enters venous leak territory.

I wonder about the accuracy of the doppler though when there is absolutely no sexual stimulation at all - just me and some random guy next to me taking measurements. How can this compare to my girlfriend being naked in front of me?

I can't answer that question.  Like you, I think logic suggests that with greater physical or mental stimulation your inflow would increase.  Would that be offset by a greater outflow or would it overwhelm the outflow and produce a better erection?   My point is that I know of no way to reverse the trend.  You can compensate for the condition with oral and injectable drugs.  You can compensate by using a cockring to reduce outflow, but remove these things and you will see that the underlying condition still exists and tends to progress, not get better.

For some encouragement, I will refer you to this very recent topic that you might have seen Dramatic increase in EQ following... nofap? - Peyronies Society Forums

Thanks Hawk.

I have recently become acquainted with the nofap theory and I'm currently on day 27. I'll be seeing my girlfriend this weekend so I'll see if it has made any difference to my erection quality. Although I realise that 90 days minimum is the benchmark...

Venous leak can supposedly be caused by anxiety which has been a factor in other areas of my life in the past so that is something that I may explore with a therapist

There are case studies of doppler ultrasound diagnosed venous leakage being reversed by the administration of testosterone.

There are studies on the reversal of venous leakage using venous embolisation undertaken by a interventional radiologist, 73% success rate.

The first one is more interesting to me though. If you have a leak caused by insufficient smooth muscle then it should be quite possible to treat it with daily cialis/levitra/viagra and maybe some VED work. In time the increased smooth muscle should allow sufficient pressure against the tunica to occlude the veins.

This study is interesting also https://www.webmd.com/g00/erectile-dysfunction/news/20040513/nightly-viagra-may-restore-normal-erections

Skunkworks, do you know if we have any solid real-life accounts on the forum of men with ED making a significant, permanent improvement?  By improvement, I mean increased erection quality that remains once a device or drug is no longer used?

For anyone with VL on here are you willing to share your symptoms?

For me I have never had a problem with erections while masturbating
I get morning wood often but not every morning
Never had a 100% erection with a girl. At best 70%, at worst 0%.

I significantly improved my VL to a level where I can have sex without cialis.

I used ice baths (Wim Hof style) and extended fasting. It's still not perfect like back when I was 18, but much better. I do still have my plaque from a large Trimix injection, but I am hopeful my body can cope with that. It sometimes gives me a bit of chronic pain, but I just ignore it.

The other thing I did to help it was use a Jeanie Rub massager to give my penis a kind of therapeutic shockwave therapy. I made a thread about it. It was in my signature but a moderator removed it. The thread should be somewhere on this site.
Snake Diet + 5-day fasts + pentox + NeoV's stretching routine + Mito Red Light. Curvature 99% gone.

I also used Todd Capistrant's "Fascial Distortion Model" to help my curvature. Start slowly.

Quick question.
Why does everyone believe that VL is due to "Leaky veins". As in perhaps the leaky veins is a secondary effect of a primary cause.
From the research ive done over the last few weeks, it seems to me vl occurs in people due to a structural alterations in the Tunica albuginea, which in essence causes the TA to become floppy and prevents the TA from expanding to its full potential due to a compromised structure.
This results in the veno occulusive function which doesnt work as effectively as the TA isnt able to expand fully and hence press upon or "pinch off" the veins in your penis that then keeps the blood in the penis.

And after  discussing with other personnel and reading upon this forum, it seems all drs want to do is operate on closing the veins. Whereas with the above information we understand that irregular veins is not the root cause of VL, but a byproduct of changes in the TA. The root cause hence being changes in the structure of the TA. And hence all drs are doing when they try and address the irregularity of VL is to dabble with the symptoms, not addressing the root cause of VL once.

Any thoughts?

Veinous leak means just that and only that blood can flow out of your penis through your veins.  It often, in fact usually, is not caused by a vein problem.  In a normal erection, the main arteries that are deep in the penis dilate and pump in a large volume of blood.  This causes the penis to increase in diameter which actually squeezes the veins which are close to the surface.  This squeezing pinches the veins closed so they are not able to pump blood out as fast as the arteries pump it in.   Plaque or a few other issues can prevent the veins from being squeezed shut allowing blood to flow out.

Exactly Hawk. Thanks for confirming this.
So im wondering why is it then when people go to the urologist or dr with regards to vl, all the drs want to do is close up the veins in the penis. Surely thats just dabbling with the symptom, not addressing the cause of VL which is structural alteration of the TA.

Cause from what i understand, if more importance is given to the TA, and hence improving the structure and the composition of the TA will allow to it then expand better and hence pinch off the veins like it would do in normal erection physiology. Hence accounting for the symptom of VL.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
