Why cant we be more elastic?

After a scarring, our body becomes way less elastic in the fibrotic area, due to the lack of elastin-related components which are essential to make the tissue be elastic.

My question is really simple:
Why is it impossible to make the tissue elastic again? After all, elastin and other components are only protein - and i can't guess why, since elasticity is one of the most important qualities in human body, science didn't focus on this issue.

Where are we now with this purpose? Are there any studies, developmental drugs or treatments, to let the tissues be elastic again?

Treatment protocols help to remodel tissue to be more elastic: pentox, tadalafil, VED, traction, etc
PxD 2 yrs 9/16.  Failed all treatment. 9/11/18: excision, grafting & implant Dr Karpman MtnView Ca, AMS CX 18cm + 3-1cm RTEs.
Pump failed.  2/11/20 Dr Karpman installed Titan 22cm +1cm RTE.

Inflammation and blood viscosity cause that lack of elasticity. Both are worse when metabolically damaged or metabolically inflexible. If you are unable to change your diet or fast, nattokinase is very powerful for thinning out the blood and giving your penis back that elasticity. As for scarring, if inflammation stays present and collagen is being deposited from tgf-beta, it will get harder.

Assuming you have no inflammation in your body (keep insulin levels low, avoid hydrogenated vegetable oils etc), you should not have this issue too bad given you stick to it.

I agree with Tsanchez that those things help a lot!

As I said though, nattokinase or other enzymes really can make a difference. This is probably true for any antiinflammatory, but nattokinase was like, shocking.. my penis felt normal for the first time in a while.
