Hi!

So I've had Peyronies for a few years now. Its not that bad, some upwards curve and some indentions. I'd love to treat it, I have both a VED and a Traction device. The thing is, no matter what I do to try and treat it seems to make it worse. I haven't seen it getting worse but it always hurts a bit and I have to stop the treatment for a while. Just pumped up in the VED again after a long pause, pumped it up slowly to only five percent and I immediately felt discomfort. I'm not holding it long, I've read the protocol a thousand times. I have tried many different tacticts with the VED, nothing works.

Same with traction. I had the traction on such a low stretch the penis was pretty much just hanging normally, I couldn't possibly stretch it any less, and it still hurt me so I had to stop that treatment to. Discomfort and some pain immediately.

What's wrong? Am I in some kind of constant inflammatory state where the slightest stretch makes it worse? Does anyone else have the same problem? I can't even begin to treat my disease. Please, help me.

You might to address the pain first.  Pentox helps with the pain for many.  Also, can try diclofenac sodium gel...3% Rx or 1% OTC

Are you overweight? I ask this because some of the most aggressive forms of the disease are found in those who are very metabolically ill and have systemic inflammation.

I'm sorry to hear about this.. As Tsanchez says, diclofanec could help with the pain. Even painkillers or natural alternatives may help you.

Hey Zidious,

Sorry to hear about your situation. But keep hope, if you have only tried mechanical solutions so far, there is a actually a lot that you can do and should help you.

First, if not done, start the basic oral treatments ASAP: pentox, cialis, L-arginine or citrulline, ALCAR, and natural antioxydants if you want (bilberry/propolis/pycnogenol extracts).

Second, try ointments; I recommend you the one I'm working on, which for me is efficient to suppress at least pain while flaccid: Essential and vegetal oils 2.0 - Peyronies Society Forums

Third, absolutely improve your diet and lifestyle if not already done: no sugar, no reffined carbs, no sweets, lots of veggies, lots of goof fats, white meat and much fish.

--> If you have not already done all of this, I'm about 100% sure that you will see at least some significant improvement in pain/inflammation level.

All the best,
- 35 yo, Peyronies Disease with chronic pain, general hourglassing with girth and length loss since 09/01/17.
- Pain almost cured with Hirudoid cream and diet/lifestyle changes (see my topics on this); deformity still here, but partly reduced with traction + VED.

Thanks for your answers.

No, I am not overweight. I am the exact opposite in fact.

The pain is only when I have done traction or VED, then its stays for a few days but then disappears, it's just that it seems to be supersensitive to any stretching and such.

I am on Pentox, Ubiquinol and Vitamin E. I suppose I could add L-Arginine to this.

Regarding diet, I have never really been on a bad diet, never stuffed my face with pizza and fastfood every day. I cook my own food. Lots of fish, chicken and some meat. I treat myself with some beers (like 3 or 4) and candy/chips on the weekend when hanging out with friends. The normal stuff. Shall I skip all together? That would suck bigtime but maybe it has to be done.

When it comes to exercise I go to the gym but only to lift weights, which doesn't really help I guess. Here I could do some improvements. I should probably start running or cardio to get a better circulation.

Try the diclofenac sodium gel and ibuprofen or Tylenol.

Go very slow. I had ALL sorts of pain, discomfort, shooting pain when starting VED AND TRACTION. I could barely pump up when I started. My EQ would reduce even on occasion if I pumped a bit too much. If stay if you are stable, with no change in your dick. Keep going, but Work your way up and go very very slow. Any serious pain or hard flaccid please stop. Even start with hand traction. Be safe
