I'm a 60 year old male who is suffering from Low-T.. I started injections in Feb 2018 with UMC and immediately my Testosterone was 1200+,, so we started lowering the dose.  We've been through this dose lowering 4 times.

ANYWAY about a month ago the shape of my erection changed ,, it went form a tip slightly down to tip slightly up.  And it kept changing. Last week I had as I was engaging with sex with my wife and during the activity,, My erection deflated.

I have now notice that my erections look like they have a band around the middle (Slight hour glass shape).. I talked with my UMC doctor and he told me to see a urologist (appointment Aug 31)..

So far what I've read here is not too encouraging.  I will keep reading as time allows..

Thanks for being here and sharing.

Hey Harry,  i will give you an unfortunate welcome to the forum.  It sounds like Peyronies, but obviously you have to wait to get the diagnosis to confirm.  However, dont get too discouraged reading the forum, this condition hits guys differently and many men find a way to live in peace with Peyronies, if that is what you have.   For now you can very safely start taking coq10.  300-400mg per day.  There is a small amount of research that says it might help, and there are many side other benefits with coQ10.

If you get a confirming Peyronies diagnosis then you ask your doc about additional treatments such as Cialias, pentox, traction, Xialfex to help mitigate any progression.  His reaction and discussion will also let you know if he is a good person to stick with or if you need to move on to a Peyronies specialist.  Stay positive and check back after your doctors visit.  There are a lot of experienced patients here who can help guide you to the best outcome ...
55 - Onset May 2017.  38 degree bend up.  Failed Xiaflex treatment.  Still functional so I decided to stop treatments.  Only take 400mg Co-Q10 and occasionally use Restorex

69 years old...Noticed the lump/hardness near the base of my penis about nine or ten months ago so discussed it with my PCP at my last visit in April, 2018 when he performed the normal turn your head and cough to check for hernia.  A lump is a concern.   He did a quick check and as he walked out of the office he said do some research on peyronies disease, it's the result of too much rough sex.  I was shocked and actually embarrassed.   Being many years separated I will say sexual relations involving coiitus are not the every day occurrence for me but neither have I been celibate.   All my experiences involving coitus were satisfying and pleasurable.  That being said my penis issues are a substantial decrease in girth at the base when an erection occurs.  The girth at the base tends to be constricted for an inch or so where the lump is located.    I have noticed a slight upward curve and I have experience brief pain with erections.   I will admit that masturbation feels much different but coitus is still very achievable.   Just wondering if others have experienced similar thing.
