What should I try before an implant?

Hi again guys, feel like I'm going round in circles here but I don't know what else to try to improve my situation.

If pills don't work at the moment will it really matter if my plaques are softer or shrink in size in regards to function?

Anyone had success in reversing severe ed without an implant with things like pentox?

And anyway what things should I try before accepting that I need an implant. Or should I just accept it already. It is hopeless because I'm young I shouldn't be even thinking of an implant but oh well...

What you should do? Look for a proper specialist, even if that means going to the us. For 2000€ or less, you can pay for everything and assess your condition and know exactly what you have.  Then, you make your decisions.

Also, ed never improves on itself. It always gets stable, or worse, as time goes by. Rest assured about that!

sonnyjim

I know that ED won't improve by itself I guess I was hoping that pentox could help with this over time (reduction/shrinking of plaque) but basically from what you're saying I will probably need to get an implant anyway.

I am seriously depressed with this crap I just want my life back.

No, I said more than that. But judging by the other thread you have with those many pages, you don't seem to want to take much serious action. Lot show and no go. But hey, I can't force you.

I think as the condition of your penis improves, your ED could get better. Penis heals with time, cialis and pentox can help it heal and break down plaque and with breaking down of plaques i belive your blood flow could get better and ED too. Don't masturbate, leave the dick alone and try everything you can, it can't get worse. If you are compltely impotent and have venous leak i doubt it will be 100% potent, but i believe it could get better. If it doesn't, at least you will help it restore size/get in better shape even if you go for implant solution.

Penis won't give better, you (we) have two options, to wait for new treatments  or surgery. Each option with its advantages and disadvantages

If I had venous leak I would understand why I'm so impotent but when I had an ultrasound last year they told me I didn't have it.

Is there any other explanation other than venous leak or is the ultrasound wrong, basically?

What sort of of ultrasound scan did you have?

I think it needs to be a penile dynamic colour Doppler ultrasound done on your erect penis. I am not totally sure about the names above, but it 100% without a doubt needs to be done in the erect state.

If you don't have a venous leak then the options for treatment are very good, but you still need to find the cause.

Are you fat?
Had HbA1c test for diabetes or pre-diabetes?

There is a good list here, check it out - https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/erectile-dysfunction/symptoms-causes/syc-20355776

'If the pills don't work' - If you have already tried ped5 inhibitors like viagra/cialis and they had no effect, my first move would be to get all possible tests for diabetes or pre-diabetes, take up resistance training and go on a low carb Paleo style diet.

Another thing you could try, though this is sketchy as it cannot be sourced legitimately, would be to try erection treatments that work via the arousal pathway not the hydraulic pathway. An example of this would be the peptide pt-141. I am not recommending that, I am just making you aware of its existence.
This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.

I don't see how I can't have a venous leak and if I don't, how come no morning wood or spontaneous erections ?

What are the treatment options if I don't?

Name it as you want sonnyjim, the problem is that your venoocclusive system (including your glans) is not able to maintain blood for an erection even with pills (injections?) so the venoocclusive system is broken. Then it is venous leak it is atrophy is it something else? Really venous leak encompasses all that. Actually the veno-occlusive system is not working well even with pills and if that happens there are not many options

sonnyjim

Yeah but they won't diagnose me with it because the ultrasound didn't show it which is why I'm still sitting like a penguin waiting to get my life back.

Is there really a point to this crap without a dick

The key is: did you get an erection with the injection when performing the ultrasound?

The injection skips the psychological barrier, if that doesn't work your venoocclusive system is wrong for sure and there is no need to go around. Try caverject 20 and see, if it doesn't produce an erection you already know it.

sonnyjim

What if it produces an erection but one that you still can't maintain ?

Wouldn't they do a doppler while you have the erection to see if you have a venous leak?

I don't understand you. How is possible an erection which you can not maintain with the injection? Then your erection lasted 1 minute and fell down? If so the injection is not working, it is the same the venooclusive system is broke and the blood escape for that you can't maintain it.

If you get an erection on injections you can maintain it if you don't maintain it that is not an erection. I mean the injection should give you an erection for one hour two hour, at least 30 minutes without stimulation.. So in other case something is bad.

How was your erection with the injection?

sonnyjim

I could still bend it. i.e. it wasn't a full solid erection and it didn't last anywhere near 1 hour it probably lasted about 5 minutes and then went down.

Also, even with the injection I still never felt any pleasure out of actually getting an erection. I don't know whether that is related to nerves or not but when I get an erection now (very very rare with manual stimulation) it feels like, I have no desire to use it... I don't know how else to explain it but it feels like I have no feeling in my penis now. Very little sensation.

Also, I cannot ejaculate I think this is the damage on the underside of my penis that is stopping my penis from expanding fully. I also noticed that as well as the lump on the underside which goes half way round my shaft, I have another one right near the base which is like a half ring as well...

Is there any hope of these going away with pentox and supplements that everyone else is taking?

i completely agree with you on the sensation problem, Im having that. My libido dropped completely and the the cs of my penis is completely numb. im guessing i tore the corpus spongiosum when having sex. which you probably did too, but didn't notice since you were drunk when having sex. i was taking pentox but quit. i ordered cialis from river pharmacy and will be taking 5mg cialis every 3 days.

My experience is if you have Peyronies Disease and erectile dysfunction so badly that a 100 mg Viagra does not give you a reliable useable erection, it is time to start the process of an implant.  Nothing good happens while you wait.  Wait 5 years and you will likely just get a smaller implant.

I just don't have the type of money I would need to have to pay for it. If I do need an implant it will likely be on the NHS where they will probably just give me a normal surgeon nobody special or anything.

What i would do is put a limit (in example age) and in the meantime save as much money as you can and dont spend it in things which wont do nothing like suplements, pentox and viagra( because if the blue pill isnt work you are wasting your money). And when u reach that limit if nothing new has arrived, go for the implant with a good surgeon

Agree with lessor. That's the way i'm going to do with this issue.
