Hello guys, i'm writing this post since i was considering to begin a PTT. I am a total newbie in this kind of therapy, but i am very curious about it since i have got a theory: the bend can bring, in some cases, ED. Even when it's a little bend. I don't know why it happens, but since i have Peyronies Disease i am experiencing ED, especially in mantaining my erection.
I have got a soft fibrotic plaque of 5mm x 1.4 mm, which causes my penis to bend of about 45° when in semi-erection and of about 5 or 6 degrees when i am totally hard. No hourglassings, no dent, no malformations. It looks like a normal penis when totally flaccid and totally erect.
I think that traction may be useful to correct my little bend in full erection and give me some of my elasticity back.
My questions are:

1. Did traction help you with ED in some measure?
2. Did traction improve your girth/lenght?
3. Did traction improve your elasticity?
4. How much time since you noticed the first results?
5. Were the results permanent?
6. I am scared to do damage with traction. What would you suggest to avoid furtther damage?
7.  Which brand would you suggest? I am interested in RestoreX because i can't wear it for 8 hours daily. Probably a couple of hours maximum.
8. What about traction+VED?
9. Is it useful for chronic phase like mine or only acute phase?

Thank you very much for your help!!

P.s. i'm considering to post my photos in the next days, so you can have a clear view of my situation. I'm 24 yo.

1. Did traction help you with ED in some measure? I didnt. But I didnt have it.
2. Did traction improve your girth/lenght? Yes! both it looks like.
3. Did traction improve your elasticity? Yes! and Flexibility
4. How much time since you noticed the first results? Once I started doing hand traction at a high intensity my dick started to feel very healthy.
5. Were the results permanent? So far yes. Dent still persists. Still some curve.
6. I am scared to do damage with traction. What would you suggest to avoid furtther damage? go very slow. very slow. I barely pulled at first and felt out how much my penis can handle. Stop if you feel pain or you get a hard flaccid.
7.  Which brand would you suggest? I am interested in RestoreX because i can't wear it for 8 hours daily. Probably a couple of hours maximum.Restorex you only wear 1/1.5 hrs a day with a break every 30 min so your penis dont die.
8. What about traction+VED? I do this. I sometimes go overboard with the pressure. Be careful.
9. Is it useful for chronic phase like mine or only acute phase? Unsure. I am in chronic. I have seen a huge benefit but nothing really in terms of dent which is disappointing, but will keep trying. The veins in my penis are always very dialated now.

Swiss, thank you really much. Your reply is a gold mine of informations!!

I would be glad to hear other experiences too. The more replies you post, the more vast our informations will be.

1. Did traction help you with ED in some measure? I am only six weeks into traction - but I have no ED
2. Did traction improve your girth/lenght? Seems to have improved both a little but it's too early to be definitive yet.
3. Did traction improve your elasticity? Not sure yet.
4. How much time since you noticed the first results? At six weeks I do notice a small change in girth and length but not curvature yet.
5. Were the results permanent? Too early to tell.
6. I am scared to do damage with traction. What would you suggest to avoid furtther damage? Traction is not intense - do not over do it.
7.  Which brand would you suggest? I am interested in RestoreX because i can't wear it for 8 hours daily. Probably a couple of hours maximum. AndroPeyronie device
8. What about traction+VED? I do a little VED - 10 minutes a day but never longer
9. Is it useful for chronic phase like mine or only acute phase? Acute phase shows best clinical results but I would do it in either phase.

I just got a traction device and I am in the acute phase.
I want to stop the deformity as early as possible but today an urologist I visited told me to stop immediately since traction in acute phase will just worsen it.
This is opposed to what some members recommend, has anyone heard of ris of traction during acute phase?
Any help greatly appreciated
29 Year's old, developed Peyronies Disease about 2 years ago without any apparent cause. The condition advanced very fast and with a lot of pain. Tried with no success so far Pentox, iontoforesis,  vitamin E, peyronimev, colchicine, traction. Lost 40-50% of volume.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION:

Peyronie's disease (Peyronies Disease) has historically been managed by at least 1 treatment, including oral supplements or medications, intralesional injections, or surgery. Adjunctive mechanical therapies also have been described, including penile traction therapy (PTT) and vacuum erection devices (VEDs), although relatively limited data are available on their use with Peyronies Disease.
AIM:

To review and summarize the published literature on the role and efficacy of PTT and VED in men with Peyronies Disease.
METHODS:

A PubMed search was performed of all publications on PTT and VED in men with Peyronies Disease from inception through September 2017.
MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:

Changes in penile curvature, length, girth, erectile function, and adverse events with PTT or VED.
RESULTS:

PTT and VED exhibit mechanisms to improve aspects of Peyronies Disease, although clinical outcomes data are limited. Based on current data, PTT likely has a potential role as a primary lengthening therapy (modest improvements), in curvature correction (acute phase; unclear role in chronic phase), before penile prosthesis insertion, and after surgical correction of Peyronies Disease. The role of PTT as a combination therapy during collagenase Clostridium histolyticum injections is unclear. Fewer and lower level-of-evidence studies are available on VEDs and suggest potential roles in curvature correction, before penile prosthesis placement, or after Peyronies Disease surgery. Guideline statements from the American Urological Association and International Consultation on Sexual Medicine also support the potential role of PTT and VED in managing Peyronies Disease.
CONCLUSIONS:

PTT and VED represent viable therapeutic options for managing Peyronies Disease, with more data currently available on PTT. Because all PTT studies used a similar style of traction device, it is unclear whether results reflect outcomes of these particular devices or traction more broadly. Further studies are required to better delineate the benefits of PTT and VED, particularly in relation to other established treatments. Avant RA, Ziegelman M, Nehra A, et al. Multiple studies have shown benefits in the acute phase.  Your doc may have had experiences with patients who were in pain or overdid it.  If any pain, always back-off the tension or stop until the pain diminishes.
