Hi everyone. I'm new here, so I hope to glean some hope, as right now I feel afraid and 'less than'. It all came on pretty quick. About 2 months ago, I noticed a palpable lump in the shaft of my penis, and that for some reason, my erections weren't as full. And I now, out of the blue, lean to the right a bit. I saw my GP within a week of onset of symptoms. I'd already self diagnosed peyronie's from being online, and she confirmed it. I'm now on a waiting list to see a urologist which could be a long wait. Meanwhile, I'm in panic mode, and my sexual future looks bleak. I guess I just need some reassurance. I'd like to hear that it's not a sexual death sentence. Please help... anyone.

The good news is that you sought help within a week of symptoms presenting. You're in the acute/active stage, which means you can take steps toward managing it and preventing worsening. I would have asked your GP about starting Pentox and an anti fibrotic medication, and maybe cialis if you feel like you need it. You've gotta keep bloodflow.

You might also consider investing in a VED or traction device.

Are these your only symptoms, are you in pain or getting firm flaccid?

I'm experiencing no pain thus far, but my erections are 80% full at best. Thanks for the advice on asking my doctor about anti fibrotic medication. I'm new to this, so in short, I'm scared big time. Still at the beginning of the learning about it. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks you for taking the time!
