Implant warning!!!

I am not one of the guys who brag about a large penis.  Flacid I have always been small but fully erect I had a good solid 7 inches which has always been fine for me.

I am 54 with Diabetes and developed Peyronies 6 years ago. I continued to get worse over time. I tried anything that I could find to correct it but nothing seemed to help. 3 years ago I went through the injections. At 1st they seemed to work pretty well until the 4th and final one. Something must have happened at the same time as I could no longer get a full erection. My Doctor told me that I must have a leaking vein and the only other option was the implant.

2 weeks ago I went through the surgery. Everything went well and I was only in major pain for about 2 days. He did warn me that I would lose length but should gain girth due to my size.

I was told to go ahead and inflate at the 2 week mark.  I now have a whopping 4 inch penis that is actually smaller in girth as well. My Doctor is supposed to be the best in a 3 state area that I live in so I am not blaming him at all. I have remarkable insurance so the price of the surgery wasn't an issue.

I guess my warning is to those that are not well endowed and growers instead of showers. It is a lot to go through and be disappointed in the end. No chance I would have went through this for a 4 inch penis. I mean WTF am I supposed to do with that?

swiss

Wont it get biggger in time? WTF. how did he chop off 3 inches??

swiss

4 inch is better than no inch bruh. As long as it's not 3 you're good.

I fing hope so but am pretty disgusted right now.

Who was your surgeon? It is ams or Titan?

Pfract

1- you haven't been activated yet
2-you need to carefully select your doctor.  The more implants, the better
3-you may be undersized.  You have to properly assess that
4-you trying to badmouth implants right away with just 4 posts? there are plenty of people your size, that have maintained it with implant surgery. Again, surgeon selection, and proper recovery protocol.
5-please, tell me more about this. I am on FT all the time, and I am going for an implant too in the future, to solve my Ed problems, because of my penile fracture, 4 years ago.

Thomas2

it was 7 before peyronie or 7 before operation? was it calcified or not?

You have every right to be. I would be pretty shocked and pissed off too. It is better than the no sex alternative...but still has me thinking something went wrong.

james1947

Inflate after 2 weeks? Not with the doctor?
First inflation is done usually in the doctor office. Also can't inflate full, just partially for at least two months until the wounds are gone.
You should see your doctor and talk with him. I suppose things may get better.

Age 71, Peyronies from Jan 2009 following penis fracture during sex. Severe ED.
Lost 2" length and a lot of girth. Late start, still VED, Cialis & Pentox helped. Prostate surgery 2014.
Got amazing support on the forum

bigandrich1981

I don't want to mention the doctors name yet. I kinda like him even if he may have mis-lead me a bit. It takes months to just get an appointment with this guy.

I was 7 before Peyronies set in. It had already started to shorten me before I became non functional at all. I also suffer from Diabetes that went a few years un-noticed because I was with out insurance.

I am not trying to trash the procedure by any means.  Simply trying to warn others that may not be well endowed like myself. Just saying please do not get your hopes up for the return to days gone by.

And obviously the doctor inflated it not me. I am still too sore to do that. He told me to practice inflating and deflating for 6 weeks then come back to see him. Today I inflated and felt that it was a bit longer so now my hopes have returned.

They did remove some plack during the surgery. He also mentioned that I was very healthy and my blood flow still seemed good which makes entirely no sense to me.

I wish everyone good luck as this disease is nothing to laugh about. I know that I haven't had a ton of post but I have read an enormous amount and want to thank all of you that have posted your thoughts and results.

I don't understzsnd one thing. You say "trying to warn others that may not be well endowed like myself. " but you say you are 7 inches and that is a good size. So I don't understzsnd you are 7 inches after peyronie or only before. And in that case what was your size after peyronie.

Another thing the tips of the cylinders go all the way to the glans? No floppy glans?

And the implant is AMS lgx or cx?

As I posted in my 1st post. I have always been small flacid. I am a grower not a show'er. I am sure there are many men just like me. Flacid I looked like a stack of dimes with an acorn.

I know what is expected but so far I am not there. I still have a lot of lose skin while inflated. But after today I am hopeful. I will keep posting what is happening.

And I was 7 before peyronies.  More like 5.5 to 6 after the 1st year. Mine started about 1 inch up from the base on the left side and pretty much devoured that inch.  I was hopeful that the cleaning of the plack would give that back.  Still hopeful that I can have at least enough to work with.

My apology if I have anyone confused. Totally not my intent. Just keep asking questions and I will answer as honestly as I can.

What do you mean when you say you have a lot of lose skin when you are inflated? The cylinders come well inside the glans and support it? I ask you this because it would be a signal of undersized

Exactly what I said. Before peyronies I had a good solid 7 inches with no room to spare.  Now after surgery I have lose skin like you would see on someone that just lost a lot of weight.  Hopefully this changes and I will keep posting my results.

I hope this helps.

Man... You can also do traction, to regain size, after you were implanted. It's not many people that know about this, but there are some medical papers on it. There's also a few links. So, there's something you can try as well.

Jack1909

What about retraction?? It might be but I never heard about it after an implant procedure.
31 yrs old
Severe congenital curvature. 3 straightening surgeries
Big lump/stitch w/ left deviation after 2012 surgery
Severe ED after last one in 2014. Still crooked
Slightly improved w/ shockwave therapy
Looks like only one side of my penis works

bigandrich1981

Thanks for the input.  I will look into that.

bigandrich1981

I spoke with my Doctor today. He told me to RELAX....  LOL   He said I needed to give my body time to heal and to gently pull on it while in the shower like I had to do while attempting the restructuring after the shots but not to put it into any long time devices.

On another note to those without insurance and curious of the actual cost. I starting receiving explanation of benefits yesterday.  So far I am up to 31k. And thankfully all but $44 has been paid. Having great insurance is almost as great a felling as having sex.

bigandrich1981

I just want to be 30 again.   ;D ;D ;D

Any new bigandrich? Your situation have improved somewhat?

I read this topic with interest.  It is a shame to see this without full specific, orderly, details so all readers can follow exactly what is going on.  One interpretation could be that BigandRich had a 7" penis that reduced to 5.5 " from Peyronies Disease.  He apparently had implant surgery and may have never been promised what his final length would be. (that is a mistake since any high volume surgeon would give you a promise on length).  Immediately after surgery, he looked like he was 4" but he admits that just a day later it "looks bigger".  He has AN AMS (probably an AMS LGX 700) which expands in length.

Since he is still sore and is likely not even inflating to maximum all of this is just completely inconclusive.  Even if he is inflating to the maximum in spite of pain and inexperience, his size will increase in the weeks and months ahead.

When someone posts like this and disappears it suggests that he panicked, jumped to conclusions, then had his concerns resolved and so now he is more interested in his new penis than he is in setting the record straight for the thousands of people that will read his post and end up with a total misconception.

Or, worse.... The person was straight up lying about it. Or, I am always a pessimist.

P1992

Hawk and pfract you two make me very laugh.... lol. Hawk, I liked a lot of  of part that you say that the guy is so interested up with his new penis than he is in setting the record straight for the thousands of people that will read his post and end up with a total misconception. And of you pfract, of your pessimism.

Good P1992, Thanks for the feedback!  If we were able to clear up misinformation and make you laugh at the same time we will consider that a total success. ;)

Having had an LGX and now a Titan, my opinion is the LGX is a scrawny little p.o.s. though comfortable cylinders. I do not like the concept that if you pump the dickens out of it for 2 years you will regain size as long as scaring that took place previously and subsequently do not overcome the tension the cylinders and your capability to pump are able to produce. As a stand alone treatment for Peronies, I think a Boston Scientific implant is too flimsy to do the job and question how the doctor arrived at the decision it is best. The "up to" expansion is taken too often out of context or as selling hype to mean will expand 25%.    Other than that, I have no opinions.
