Hey guys,

I opened before a topic about my surgery ( After Stage Surgery - Peyronies Society Forums ), now I have a question regarding the length loss. I hope there is someone with experiences about that topic.

My penis was before 16cm in erected form and straightened and the curve was about 70°.
In Stage surgery, the doctor told me the loss was between 1-2cm and I can phollosan to get some length back in 8th week.
However, my Penis is now covered with bandages and I have to keep it for 3-6 weeks and when I get erections it looks very small and the size is about 11cm in erected form then.

Is that normal, am I going to get some length back after I stop using this bandages or how is it? I am really worried about that.

Vvv

Maybe  it isn't a full erection

Maybe your doctor pretend to do stage... but does something else.
Be careful!
vvv is maybe right. Ask your surgeon what the problem is.

Loss of length is still a result in stage surgery, isn't it?  Just maybe a little less than plication as it is more precise in the sutures?
PxD 2 yrs 9/16.  Failed all treatment. 9/11/18: excision, grafting & implant Dr Karpman MtnView Ca, AMS CX 18cm + 3-1cm RTEs.
Pump failed.  2/11/20 Dr Karpman installed Titan 22cm +1cm RTE.

hey quetzel if you read the stories of other members you will see that a temporary loss of length is normal. but those patients were operated by dr kuehhas. your surgeon is someone else... you need to use phallosan, but since your doc has a different approach you might also double check what he wants. your reported length loss sounds a bit scary to be honest...

After surgery your penis retracts to protect it self. That's why stretching is recommended as it brings your penis back out of its shell. On my first surgery (nesbit) i freaked out because my penis had lost about two inches.

I did have a hematoma which didn't help matters, (caused swelling) nor did the lack of information from the Hospital Staff on what to expect.

I was ready to cut my own penis open and undo the stitches because I was so freaked out from it.
But I made an emergency appointment to speak to my surgeon, who explained that when I healed the size would come back.

So don't panic just yet, your size should end up being the shorter side of your penis before you had you surgery. If your surgeon done a competent job, it be no longer or shorter than that measurement.

Hi I had a nesbit surgery which is the one with the 2inch loss. I also had the stage after that one, as the nesbit didn't work.

But like I said after surgery your penis will retract to protect itself. Look at the picture, your penis has just gone under major trauma.

I'm also guessing there's swelling around the base of your penis. Which will make it look smaller, but in time your get your size back.

The problem for us men is size of your penis is a major issue at some point in our life's.

I have a friend who's 6.4 in hight, so he thinks his 9 inch penis is small because it looks small on his body.

Doctors need to get a better handle on the after care for these type of operations.

You should have been told about penis retraction, when you were given a care plan to look after your penis.

All I can say is relax, you penis will be that size in the pic once it's healed. Your get your size back before the 8 week mark. I'm guessing in the next 3 to 4 weeks your penis will start to look like that pic.

But not so bloody  :P

Did you use phallosan redbullmaster?  Or the retratction come back with the time without need to use phallosan?

It speeds up recovery time, but you be fine to do the same thing by holding the end of the penis and stretching it.

But not for a couple of weeks yet lol

Thanks for reminding James!

redbullmaster thank you for your help, you are really doing my days better. Did you get these 2 inches back somehow or are they lost forever now?
Lol, your friend has really god a 9 inch penis? He is a lucky one :D
I see, I hope it comes as you said, first aim is to let it look like on the removed picture and later with the help of traction to get these 2cm's back then I will be the most happy guy on that planet I guess.

One more question, can the curve come back after these 6 weeks? My doctors told me that I need to rest 6 weeks so everything is healed etc. but there is always a chance that the curve can come back right? And if I use traction devices, there is a higher chance that the curve comes back right?

redbullmaster

Yes I got back that size, patience is your friend.

As for the curve, it came back on both my nesbit and the stage operation.

But each case is different, some get no curve back others get a slight curve or like me all the curve back.

As for you wait, the 6 weeks to see how you healed first.
You may be happy with your size and decide not to use a traction devise.

You don't need to use one, all you need to do is hold your penis straight out in front of you and pull quite firm for 10 sec at a time. Do this several times a day and you get back to you operation pic size.

But don't start doing this until week 4 I think it is, but check with your surgeon first.

Hi redbullmaster I have read you got an implant some time ago. Can you tell me how is your experience with it? Are you happy? Sorry by the off topic

Don't know if happy is the right word, i rather have a normal working penis.

The problem is I wasn't happy with results of the surgery.
But it was done on the NHS and I can't afford to have it revised.

If i could have it revised I would be a lot happier with it.

This is to do with one of the tubes to the pump being at the base of my shaft. Also because of the two operations there's scar tissue at the top of my penis.

This means near the top, my penis is mishapened as it goes from 4.5 girth to 6 inches half way down.

But I don't obsess about it and worry, like I use to with my curved penis.

I've only used it once and there was no real sensitivity for me using it with a woman. But I can still come by masturbation, but the orgasms dont give me a lot of pleasure.

So I still have a lot of issues which I don't see a way to fix.
Maybe in 10 years there be something to get my sensitivity back.

So I'm not a good person to ask as I'm not a successful case.

But if you have  ED and pills/injections don't work, or you don't like to use a VED and a cock ring.
Then it is your last hope.

If you have a good bank account you could try shockwave therapy. Or look into BOTOX treatment, but if all treatments you tried failed.

Then a implant is a good choice as it erections on demand and your sex life back.

I think for a lot of men it's a good treatment and not to be dismissed.

But be really sure, as there's no way back from it. Counselling is a good idea before you have the surgery.

Strong

What is Botox treatment? I have never heard about that for the penis, does it work?

It's new and experimental, not sure if it works or how available it is.

Redbullmaster you had right, patience seems to be a good factor in healing. I got today +1cm back, I don't know why but yesterday I had 11cm while an erection and today 12cm and have still 3 weeks to go until I am fully "healed". So, I hope I get the missing 2cm's back without any traction.

So I wanna go sure, traction can bring the curvature back? How was it in your case? When did your curve return after the surgeries? Is there anything to do so we can avoid a returning curvature?
And these missing length, is it possible to gain it back anytime? I mean if I dont do any traction now and decide to do it after 1 year, would I get the missing size back? Or is it something which needs to be done directly 8 weeks after the surgery?
