Hi, new here so not sure if this is the right forum.

I'm 19 and my penis has being curved to the left since I can remember, there is a noticeable scar going from the tip to the base which I assume has caused it. I have only found out about Peyronie disease today and am excited since it would be a huge confidence builder to fix my penis irregularity. However I am confused on the treatments, most articles recommend a device called a penis traction but in my current situation this isn't an option since 1. I'm a student and don't have the money 2. all orders online go through my parents and it would be impossible to speak to them about my condition.

My next option seems to be penis exercises that some claim straighten the curve however I've seen some articles saying this is very dangerous and others claiming safe. So I came here to hear other opinions, do any of you have experience with penis exercises? have any of you fixed your bent penis if so how? what would you recommend?

Thanks very much

bod,
You need to read up on congenital curvature. You need to know if you have congenital curvature or Peyronies as the way to treat this is different.

thanks for the reply, I'm assuming peyronies since I can actually see the scar on my penis but I do not remember the incident that caused the scar so it must have been when I was very young, when erect my penis also curves to the left and upwards  instead of downwards which is associated with congenital curvature.

Are you experiencing pain with erection, or firmness while flaccid?

First of all, don't do "penis exercises".

Congenital curvature can also go in different ways. Unless you had a superficial injury, the scar is inside the penis not on the outside. Did you have circuncision? That leaves a scar. There's also a line below the penis that comes from the scrotum, and that's perfectly normal.

To know if you have indeed Peyronies you have to go to a doctor, and if its suspect do an exam: ultrasound or MRI. If the doctor is fast to recommend surgery (wheter it's congenital or peyronies), think it well through and do large research, because he may have a commercial or ego interest to gain more experience. Basically if you have a curve less than 45º avoid surgery.

There isnt any specific pain that I can point to when erect

thanks for the advise,

I guess I was being naive, I thought I could fix this at home without having to go to others since I was a a bit too embarrassed about the whole thing to go speaking to my family and doctors about it. After reading this article https://curvedpenisscience.com/  I had assumed the treatment was the same for congenital and peyrnoies but I was wrong. I have two questions
1. if I am very reluctant to tell my parents about it, is there anything I can do at home that does not require professionals and is safe that could minimize the curve in some way?
2. If supposedly I did get a penile traction device in the future would that work for or at the very least be safe giving the chance that I may have a congenital curve? in the article I gave the author appears to have had a congenital curve and a traction device fixed it although he did not recommend penis exercises.

thanks very much.

bod

thanks again.

my situation isnt that bad so I think I can wait until I'm older before considering surgery/tractions e.t.c

in the meantime would PE be safe to do? just to see if it helps or not for myself

The. ESL-40 is a very inexpensive PE traction device you could try.  Just google it.

bod you did not tell how much is it your penis curved? if it is congenital and doesn't impede with intercourse, you should absolutely not be this much self conscious (think this much) about your penis! A LOT of people simply have a lightly bent penis, it's absolutely normal and there are even porn actors with a slightly bent penis!

Overthinking about your penis might lead you to try to remodel it which i tell you, will ultimately lead you to peyronie! Don't bring yourself harm for insecurities!

If you have a bend let's say, more than 30°, talk to a urologist before! You are young, i know how these things go: you have not yet gone off your puberty, you might not have a simple relationship with your parents... But you should not be ashamed for something like this! You know what happened after i spoke to my father about my peyronie? he started talking me about his prostatitis!

At 19 you might not have yet realized this, but most of people deal daily with issues and diseases they don't want to share in public. You are young and if you are dealing with a congenital curvature, you might not have a problem at all, so don't start to handle your penis bofore someone has helped you thinking it straight!

Please! Please! Please! before you start stretching your penis, share your problems with someone and think them with someone's aid! Nobody is able to be objective while deling with his own problems! Please, don't do anything yet! You don't have pain, you are young, you ARE NOT in a hurry to do anything since this is not getting worse in time!
