Wow...I stumbled across this site late last night.  What a wealth of information.  I have been searching for a Facebook group, totally forgetting about forums.

I've had Peyronie's for around 18 months.  I'm sure it was caused by having a camera inserted after traces of blood were found in my urine, which unsurprisingly was put down to taking thinners due to a deep vein thrombosis.

I have recently seen a specialist through my private insurance at work.  We was recommending the Nesbit procedure, as I had curvature of around 50 degrees.  Unfortunately I saw him again last week and the condition has worsened to 80 degrees, so he is now recommending either partial correction using the Nesbit, or insition and grafting to full correct.

I am worried about possible issues post surgery if I go the grafting option, so any reassurance would be good.

I would also welcome recommendations of a surgeon in the south west.  Or any feedback on Mr Rees in Southampton.

Anyway...thanks for letting me join, I will be sure to contribute to the group to help anyone else going though this terrible ordeal.

Welcome, it sounds like you are in the active phase so I would request pentox and daily low dose cialis. Maybe H-100 gel if you can afford it. Consider adding traction and/or VED as well. Xiaflex is an option but they may want to wait until you're in the stable phase.

Thanks for the response.  Anyone know if these medications are available in the Uk?  Nothing has been offered by mr Dr in the last 18 months
