I had been told by 4 primary docs and 2 urologists that I didn't have peyronies because there was no visible bend in my penis.

It didn't matter to them that I had lost 2 inches off my penis.
Today I went to a new urologist, who very quickly diagnosed me with it.

I'm somewhat scared because he didn't listen to much of what I had to say about my condition.

He identified a bump at the base of my penis(one that just showed up a couple days ago, but I've had ones similar in the past and thought they were jock itch. So I just put lotrimin on it). After a while they would go away.

He identified this bump as a "Cyst". There was a word he used before it but he said it was part of my peyronies condition.

I now Will be getting the cyst removed and plaque evaluated via surgery.

I'm not gon lie. I'm scared af but I need to get better.

Here's the full history of my condition:

In 2015  I noticed that my penis wasn't leaning to the left as far as it had as long as I could remember.  Then I realized that it seemed the reason why it wasn't, was cuz it was shorter.

I hadn't measured myself since 2010, when I was 16. At that time I was at 7 inches.

When I measured in 2015, I was at 5.5..
I thought limited blood flow and too much masturbation was the problem.
I stopped smoking blunts for a month and also cut down masturbation to a few times within that month.

I was able to Get back up to 6 inches.

A few months later I was stuck at 5.75.

For maybe a year and a half it was at 5.75 and dropping down to 5.5 and back up.
Then early 2017 it got stuck at 5.5.
In July 2017 I dropped down to 5 flat from masturbatinh too much. I had stopped smoking herb completely at that point thinking it would help so I didn't realized masturbatinh would Majd it so bad. For

But then early August I didn't have sex or masturbate at all for 2 weeks and miraculously jumped to 5.5-5.75. I didn't know how.

Then after a few weeks I had an extremely stressful situation and jacked off too much and it dropped back down to 5 flat. I've been stuck there no matter how little I've masturbated.

I was doin some research and found out about how Coq10 and brolemain(a compound found in pineapples) can help work against peyronies.
During the time I gained that .5-.75  of an inch back, I was eating pineapple regularly (including the stem cuz I didn't know better, but I know now is the part with the most brolemain)

During that time, one my roommates had given me a few coq10 soft chews that he had just said we're food for energy and muscle building.

So I've begun to take those again! No difference just yet but I'm gon keep taking them even if I am getting the surgery.

I've tried yohimbe, hella different vitamins, and all kinds of stuff tryna fix this. Lord knows I'm praying.

And oh yeah, also that crap hurts. But my focus was more on the length since I've dealt with all kinds of painful injuries over the last 8 years.

Welcome to the club. No visible deformities is a good sign, you're in a much better state than many of us. See if you can get a prescription for Pentox and low dose Cialis... if you're gonna play the waiting game until surgery, those will at least slow any progression of the disease.

NeoV

Same as every other disease. We don't "have it" until they can treat it using the most expensive methods possible (that cost them the least). They will almost always ignore early Peyronie's because they don't know how to treat or prevent it. Take the CoQ10 but realize that only treats an underlying mitochondrial dysfunction at the core cause of Peyronie's.

Thanks for the response.
Yeah, I'm really trying to respect the fact that I'm in a different state than a lot of folks on the forum.

Losing 2 inches is horrible, but I know that there's a lot more that folks are dealing with and I really hope that some people on this forum find themselves healed.

I would like to take medicine instead of surgery, but also I forgot to say that my pubic area really hurts sometime for no reason. I never understood why.

I'm pretty sure the plaque is right at the base of my dick and even further in a bit.

The doctor pushed for surgery right away. I plan on getting a second opinion. Jumping to surgery may be smart?
but also might not be.

I'd consider traction regardless of whether you have the surgery.  It can give you some or all of lost length back.  If only some it can help offset any length loss due to surgery.

I'm gon look into the section on traction then. Thanks for the advice!
That's wild it could give length back.

I'm worried it won't though, just cuz the plaque is at the base of my penis, and I also think it's under my public mound....

Doesn't traction usually stretch out the parts that have plaque?
If that's the case then it wouldn't help.

I'm down to try anything that won't make it worse though....

TonySa

It should be stretching the internal portions of the penis as well.

There are traction devices that can do that??? Or is it just cuz it starts pulling it out further or something?(that sounds like a dumb question but I'm tryna think of how that could work)

TonySa

The whole penis is stretched, it's just part of the penis is buried inside the body so you can't see it.

Oh word. Snap. Thanks.

Also, I'm getting a second opinion from Dr. Liroff who is someone folks on here said specializes in peyronies. So we'll see what happens!

And if I do decide to get surgery, ima rock with him instead of the scalpel happy dude
