Should I use traction?

I developed Peyronie's disease in late November of 2016 as a result of a combination of Penile injury during sex and levetiracetam (if anyone wants to do some research on this drug be my guest. It's very weird...). Since then, my main complain has been loss of girth (probably about an inch). Currently my penis is around 5.5 inches in length and around 4.75 inches in girth. Pretty standard penis as things go. I do have some indentation right below the glands on the right side making the right side look a little less girth than the left. There also seems to be scar tissue right below the glands causing my head to not get as engorged during erection and making the top cold at times when flaccid

As depressed as I get about my peyronies (women used to say it was the Goldilocks penis—just right) I have been very lucky with my Peyronie's disease. For whatever reason, I've only had loss of girth and it's almost completely uniform throughout my entire shaft. In fact, my penis looks insanely strait minus a small amount of hourglassing. If I don't tell women I have Peyronie's disease, they can't tell anything is wrong.

Now here's my question—do you think I should give traction a go? I've had a VED for a long time but I haven't been consistent with its use for many reasons, the main one being I had to go back on levetiracetam for a short period and it aggravated the condition to the point where while people say you should do something in the active phase even the most gentle therapies worsened the condition. (I seem to keep hurting myself with it because I'm dumb; it makes me sad to use it to be honest, and I'm suffering from major  depressive disorder and poor physics health so as easy as 15 min a day sounds at the end of the day I just tend to not... I'm trying to be better.).

Do you think the traction could help me regain some of my lost girth? Help the indentation?

I would also like to increase my length a bit. I've found some women even struggle with my length if they are shallow but I'd like to have a bit more to reduce the chance of it slipping out during sex and reinjuring myself.

I've been off levetiracetam for about 9 months now and my condition has stabilized (whatever the drug was doing at least) so I feel comfortable resuming therapy.

So my goals right now

1) regain girth (restart VED)
2) increase length to reduce injury risk
3) get my penis healthier since erectile quality was one of the reasons I damaged it (I have damage to my hypothalamus/pssd and so getting in the mood can be hard)

I would love to hear all of your wonderful opinions on the matter:
Saftey
success stories
warnings
Traction device suggestions (I think either penimaster with the suction cup or the restorex)

Thank you all so much!! These forums have really helped me through my darker days. If I was functioning better cognitively, I'm sure I could find all the answers to these questions. But as I can barely remember where I put my keys just now, I figured I'd throw myself on the mercy and benevolence of you fine people :) (thank you thank you thank you)

Meds I take:
25mg gabapentin once daily
.25mg lorazepam once daily
100-200mcg methylfolate once every other day or daily (I'm mthfr heterozygous)
Coenzymated vitamin b6 (about 100 percent daily intake; improves erections)
Niacin PRN
Potassium 10mg every once in a while
Ketogenic diet
Daily 16 hour fasts (depressing helps with this one haha!)

Things I can't tolerate:
Cbd
Marijuana
Pentox
Glutamine causes pain after two days of first dose
Acetylcholine l carnitine causes EXTREME PANIC after about a week. I feel like I'm on psychedelic drugs and freaking out.
I have a gene mutation that makes alpha tocopherol increase Inflamation

I'm sure I've forgotten something, but my mind is s little addled :/

In my opinion yes. But just if you will be consistent in using.

VED and traction are helping, but just if you are consistent!

Age 71, Peyronies from Jan 2009 following penis fracture during sex. Severe ED.
Lost 2" length and a lot of girth. Late start, still VED, Cialis & Pentox helped. Prostate surgery 2014.
Got amazing support on the forum

Thanks for the reply James. Yes you are right it's about consistency. I feel one of the reason I'm not consistent with VED is I have to look at my penis and we'll... it bums me out.

Do you have any suggestions for which traction device to buy? When it comes to my dick I'm not worried about cost as long as it's effective. Is the restorex worth it?

Also I started methyfolate to deal with a gene mutation and... well it's defenetily making my peyronies worse. In such a short time too...

Well I ordered the restorex yesterday. I just wanted to get something quick because I'm leaving for Europe in the two days for a few weeks. Hopefully it goes well!

I think it could be helpful, especially in regaining any length lost,  keep us posted.
PxD 2 yrs 9/16.  Failed all treatment. 9/11/18: excision, grafting & implant Dr Karpman MtnView Ca, AMS CX 18cm + 3-1cm RTEs.
Pump failed.  2/11/20 Dr Karpman installed Titan 22cm +1cm RTE.

Will do! I don't think I've lost a whole lot of length. Maybe a little. I'm also interested in seeing if it just improves Penile health in general. The ability to stretch at an angle is of interest to me—I wonder if I can reduce my plaques in specific areas with it even though I don't have a traditional curve at all.

I wish it wasn't so pricey, but it's honestly a drop in the bucket for what I pay in medical expenses each year... I often think peyronies would be easier to deal with if I wasn't so sick and vice versa.

Speaking of which I hope to see some docs about autoimmune issues I'm having. Peyronie's disease feels like a symptom of a much larger issue.
