Hi!

I've been a member in this forum for some time now. Great olace! I am a bit confused about my symtoms and maybe someone can give me some input.

I have had a bend/curve for as long as I can remember and haven't given it much thought really. Six months ago a long relationship ended and about this time I started to have some major ED problems. At first I thought that this was caused by psychological factors and I visited an urologist. I also experienced that the top part of the penis seemed to take a sharper bend upwards than before. I showed the doctor photos and he did not seem to be that worried about this. The bend is approx 40 degrees upwards. This was in january this year. I have visited a two other urologists and have heard that this might be peyronies or congenital. The last visit to a doctor resulted in that he identified a hard area near the base of the penis. I have and indentation on my left side of the penis and on the underside it feels like a small pit that separates rhe penis in two sections.

My regimen consists of VED and cialis 5mg a day. This other day I had pain and this has never been an issue before. The pain came after ejaculation.

Can someone give me some hints to what I can do. I live in Sweden and pentox etc is not a part of treatment here it seems. I have started to investigating surgery. I feel really low right now and I really don't know what to do.

Hey dressa
If you have had a bend since you can think about it you have a congenital curvature. That does not exclude Peyronie's disease. You can have peyronies on top of your congenital curve. I suggest that you check your problem with someone who is experienced with both problems. My personal experience with urologists was not too great... they don't seem to understand the difference. Do you have any specialists in Sweden?

Thank you for replying!

Specialist in Sweden means urologist. I really don't know where else to turn.

What about Andrologist?

I have been in contact with several urologists and andrologists and I have received different opinions. I have a curve/bend approx 40 degrees upwards. As far as I'm concerned it's been bent all my life. Since a few weeks it feels sore at certain spots and when half erect it takes on an hourglass shape. I have an indentation on the underside (not on the upside where the bend is)...around the indentation it's quite sore and if I touch this area I get a stinging feeling sometimes. I habe problems with erections. I habe nocturnal erections but no spontaneous ones. I take cialis 5mg a day and coq 10 and other supplements. I'm doing ved and have ordered a traction device. I feel lost and confused and I am strongly considering surgery. The last "expert" I visited at Swedens leading andrology faculty (he is an urologists but works at this place) felt a hard area near the base of my penis. Others have not mentioned anything about this. He offered bo other help other than informing on surgery methods and that that is the last solution. What in the hell shall I do? VED...Traction...Nothing?

If it's been only a few weeks it's too soon for the treatment to have helped.  Hourglassing certainly sounds like it may be peyronies on top of a congenital curve. Surgery is usually a last resort.  Id give the traction/VED time maybe ask about Xiapex as well.

Thank you!

Erection quality goes up and down. Sometimes it's OK and sometimes I have a very hard time getting it. I have nocturnal erections every night and morning wood but no spontaneous ones. Does this indicate something? I will give traction a try. Receiving my device this week: andropeyronies.
