I am 26 years old and in 2015 I did something to my penis (hard masturbation) which caused it to give me sharp tearing pain at the left side and then the base (within the body).
I went straight to A&E but the doctor there was unhelpful and sent me away.
For a few weeks afterwards I could not get an erection without pain, and so I had to mentally discipline myself to avoid them.
I went to my main doctor again but they were still not helpful.

Fast forward to a few months ago, and I was pretty low in general, and I think that my low confidence and depression is mainly rooted in this problem, though I have tried to ignore the issue after the two doctors said it was nothing. Honestly I don't really know why I was satisfied with that opinion but hey.

At this point I realised that I had erectile problems (I wouldn't really know because I have been celibate for about 4 years). I thought it was because of my poor lifestyle and mental health, so I have gone into numerous improvements and had a blood test done. There I saw that everything was bang on average and my Test level was 24.9 nmol/L which is fairly high considering I have been so low. Meaning that it really isn't some kind of low mood. And my doctors were completely wrong.

These days my penis has a slight bend in it and there is on and off, a dull ache in the base of the penis on the same side (inside the body). I can't get it to full hardness without physical stimulation and when I let go it immediately loses hardness. I have no confidence with women even though with good T-levels and not bad looking.

When this originally happened I heard no 'popping' sound that people often do and there was no bruising whatsoever. However after this my penis was significantly more veiny. So it was some kind of minor tear, that didn't register to an inexperienced doctor, and then over time it has developed Peyronies. At least that's what I think.

Needless to say I will be calling my doctor tomorrow to demand an appointment with a urologist.

I came here to try and get some ideas of what this could be.

Ah, but masturbation doesn't cause peyronies, just ask the guys here!

Are you experiencing any other hard flaccid symptoms? Pronounced veins is one of them. Happened to me immediately after my injury a few years ago, same tearing pain while masturbating that lasted for a couple weeks.

I am in a similiar situation. I've got a little fibrotic plaque, mild ED and a slight bend, since something like 4 years. So i'll follow your post. Let me know if you find a solution, and feel free to PM me. Let's keep in touch!

Hi there thanks for your responses.

I will try to get that appt asap and update here. I can't believe how the doctors have let me down like this. It's life changing. The sexual market place is brutal enough. I can't really see myself getting a woman unless I get a whole new penis. Aggh.

tollundman, big difference between gentle masturbation and "hard masturbation" with "tearing" as far as causing peyronies.

Any trauma induced to an erection could result in Peyronies. Masturbation, sex, or otherwise.

what do you mean by a slight bend? In what direction and what degree of curve is the bend?

When u go to the doctor ask for an anti inflammtory drug. I was sore like I was having sex everyday and I was having it mmm every 5 to 7 day. But I went to the doctor and they all seem to blow u off like nothings wrong. And then when it hits. The doctor will tell you there is nothing that can be done for it. crap
