Last year in February, I had surgery for enlarged prostate. I had to have two follow up surgeries because of strictures. Come to find out the surgeon must have cut me on the way in. The tip has never been the same. After removing my catheter after the second surgery I noticed a curvature during erection. By 3 weeks after the third surgery an erection was painful. The surgeon told me I had the beginning stages of peyronies disease. He basically told me there was nothing he could do about it and that I would have to go see someone else. I have not had intercourse with my wife since July of last year. Erections are too painful. I am not well endowed, in fact I'm on the small side. So surgery does not seem like a good alternative. I have become very interested in the P shot. I've heard a lot of Success With It without surgery. However, since I'm neither rich, nor do I have a good job, it is very cost-prohibitive. I'm wondering if any place takes insurance for such a thing? Also, I'm wondering what my alternative would be to seek restitution from my surgeon? At least to pay for the bills to restore me.

I'd see a a peyronies specialist for a work-up w ultrasound to confirm peyronies.  With that, consult an attorney.  Meanwhile pentox often helps with pain.  Add low dose daily cialis and traction/VED to stop/reverse progression.  See protocols here.  Diclofenac sodium gel may also help w the pain.  1% OTC and 3% Rx.  Surgery is a last resort, may want to consider Xiaflex injections from a high volume doc that administers that injection.

See a peyronies specialist and get the surgery.  It's worth it.
See Dr. Larry Levine in Chicago.

Dr Levine is very well regarded, doubtful he would start w surgery which is a good thing!
