I just ordered 3 VEDs of AliExpress. One was $25, and 2 that were $12 each. I don't expect them to be high quality, and having to make improvements wouldn't surprise me. Yet they have tons of reviews, and we're talking about a plastic tube, a pump, valve and gauge. Anything above $50 is BS IMO. I was considering building one, and I might still if none of these are good enough.
There's maybe 50 different models on there, and even a knock off Bath-mate looking one. The $25 one I bought looks pretty good and has a gauge. The 2 $12 ones I'll use the pump on my DIY if they don't work out.
I've started to buy quite a bit off AliExpress, since the whole free shipping and postal backlog issue started. I get everything sent by E-Packet and it's well worth the $2-$4. Usually comes in 2 weeks, sometimes quicker. Out of say 50 items I've boughten only once did I get the wrong item, which was an easy mistake to be honest. Yet with 1 message I got my money back instantly. I was always worried the AliExprss was shady, but the sellers only get paid once you confirm items received, or after the time for dispute has elapsed, after delivery. Policy on a lot or all of the stuff, is it's free if late.
Anyways, just thought I'd share the find. I'll follow up with a review once I get them.

Unnecessary post!
You know already that:

Come back after 3, 4 years of daily usage and tell us how they are!

I got a cheap one from Ebay, probably even cheaper for the same thing on aliexpress, and it has served me well for a couple years so far. I could buy 6-8 of them for the price of one of the 'medical' grade veds so I'm not too concerned about how long it lasts past this point.
This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.

Interesting. One uro suggested not spending any more than $100 on one as they're all basically the same. Skunk, any opinions on Aliexpress? $25 doesn't seem like much of a risk, as long as it's safe and uses correctly.

If we were talking about something electronic or mechanical I'd agree. But it's not like the manufactures of these don't also manufacture pumps for companies that put their brand on it and charge a few hundred.

The difference with cheap unbranded items and those marked up is quality control. It's more practical for them to sell everything and just replace the duds.

If your in a hurry, or you want a 3 year warranty then your looking to spend. AliExpress, eBay, dealExtreme, etc, are kinda like Walmart vs most retail stores. You know your not getting top quality, almost guaranteed. I'm not going to buy tires from Walmart, cause I have 2 kids and travel a lot. Risk vs reward.
I wouldn't buy a AED (Defibrillator) off AliExpress, but a plastic cylinder with a bulb pump is a pretty safe bet IMO. Maybe I'll need to add a bit of epoxy or hot glue to seal a joint, oh well. I'd think it would be more practical for these sellers to use the same bulb pump, tubing and cylinder, as opposed to specially design and produce inferior parts to save on material.

Anyways, this is more of a unnecessary post, lol.

I can personally vouch for AliExpress, if that matters to anyone. They make money off quantity, so burning a couple people isn't worth it. AliExpress, just like Amazon are little more then their reputation. Their best interest is in customer satisfaction, as opposed to sellers.

I just thought I'd reiterate how I'm not advocating anything what-so-ever. I'm also not dismissing any bands quality or design, or the fact they are designed by medical experts and manufactured to medical grade standards. IMO, a vacuum chamber, is a vacuum chamber. My situation doesn't require any special design to accommodate a significant bend at the moment. I havent seen every VED design, but all the ones I've seen are a straight cylinder.
I plan on inspecting and testing the VED's I'm expecting in the mail, and would recommend anyone do the same before putting it to use. My post was nothing more than an informative, no different than if I posted that I seen sale on say Vitamin E, at Walmart.

Interesting why people are buying Mercedes cars when they can buy a clone for 10% of the price 8)

Back to the VED :)
Myself using a sex toy shop VED as the medical grade is not available where I am living. Try to buy the best I can, around $50 including shipping
During some 6 years, I bought 5, so my expenses were $250.
One the cylinder come out to be more than 3", even the written on the picture was 2" and was useless, including the pump that the pipe diameter was much bigger than other VED's
One the sealing rubber beak up after one month.
One the connection to the pipe on the cylinder top brake and no any repair helped, want to mention that I am a handy man, doing everything alone in my house.
Two lasted each 2 and 3 years respectively.

Just to make it clear, everyone should do with his money whatever he wish :)
