Hard flaccid and VED
« on: May 28, 2018, 04:41:42 PM »

I was leaning towards trying the somacorrect VED just to see if i can benefit from it. My plaques are in the glans at the top of both cavernosal bodys and seems like the CS has scarring too... Along with some cords going longitudinal, also plaque in the deep penis tissue in the base. <- (wanted to try a traction but hard flaccid prevents that i think.)

I have hard flaccid most of the time while standing, when i lay down it softens some but not always completly. If i sit on the edge of the seat i can also achieve flaccid, but still not completly. just wanted a second opinon on how i should pump. The hard flaccid concerns me, i dont want to be tugging on tissue that doesnt want to be tugged on.

-Laying down was #1 choice in my opinon
-Edge of chair
-Standing, <- (seems like id be aggravating tissues)

Another concern i had was that when i wake up in the morning or after masturbation it takes a while for my penis to fully detumesce, then if im laying down, it never fully does until i stand up.. Not sure if this is because of the scarring or some arterial problem or scarring that is causing an arterial problem. I was concerned that it would take me forever to do a cycle of VED because of such symptoms... Do you think i should get a doppler before even trying to use a VED?

I haven't ordered it yet but i remember seeing a voucher code somewhere on the forums i cant seem to find it though.

Hi dom,

I can relate to your hard flaccid and detumescence problems.

The first question is : are you on cialis ? I noticed that detumescence takes waaaaaay longer while I'm on it than while I'm not, specifically when I'm laying down. Pentox might have a similar effect too, but I'm not sure though.

And about your fear to tug tissues, be sure of one thing : as long as you have Peyronies Disease, your tissues will look like they don't want to be touched or manipulated. There is an infinity of opinions about what to do, but I do tend to think that daily gentle traction + VED is actually beneficial to limit deformation and eventually correct it in the chronic phase.

Stay strong !

Gabriel - The only prescription i take is the pentox the other pills are the whole OTC regimen of supplements like arginine etc... This detumescent problem has been around for a while now,  i used to wake up at night with painful erections multiple times a night, like as soon as i get into REM the erection would not go away. Now i wake up at least once a night and get out of bed to let the blood fully leave then go back to sleep. Not painful anymore but i dont think its a good think to keep an erection that long.

I just ordered a VED so ill see what happens when i try it out, as for manual stretching i always got pain afterwards, and this last time that i tried i had pain in the spots that i feel are plaques and down the whole left side of shaft, so i haven't tried strecthing wasnt sure if i was making more damage.

WhatsNext81 - I currently see a Pelvic floor physio, and have been doing pelvic release, stretching, exercises for the past year. I think i might be mistaking referred pain for pelvic pain. not sure. but im going to continue with physio just to be sure.

Thanks for all the input everyone

Hey dom,

OMG, about the nocturnal erections, you just described what happened to me 2 years ago and which remained a total mystery for me and for my uro (who didn't seem to care anyway). Exactly just like you, I used to wake up several times in the middle of the night with boners so hard and long-lasting that they were painful and creepy. This lasted for like 1 month or 2, then went away by itself...

Honestly I never knew what happened, but this episode was one of the many mysterious problems I have had for 5 years now : CPPS with urine drops/leak after peeing, erectile dysfunction which I think was psychogen, loss of face/pubis pilosity, alopecia areata (all the hair falling down within 2 weeks on a small area of the head), sleep troubles, and now Peyronies Disease... All this not in particular period of stress (I mean, sometimes yes, sometimes no).

Currently I'm also working with a physiotherapist for the pelvis and began to visit a doctor who works "internally" too; but without any result so far...

So, my question is : WHAT / THE / F°°° is going on  :o??

PS : don't know how to manage manual stretching eather, as any stretching makes my plaque area more painful... But I already lost 0,7cm in lenght, so I guess I shouldn't stop...

I pray the nocturnal erections start to deflate instead of sticking around for 4 hours. i think that would help tremendously with recycling blood. I ordered a VED so im going to start on that protocol this weekend. I been stressed as well, i bring myself to be positive only to slip right back into the negative again. its a viscous cycle. Im working with meditation and with an energy doctor.

Positive mental imagery is important as well. visualize proper blood flow and healthy penis people have cured all kinds of illness with mental imagery . Dr. Jerry Epstein was the founder of mental imagery i believe, look up some of his stuff, if nothing else it kinda puts you in a better mood to think about a healthy member between your legs. :)

Im thinking i have an arterial problem. im going to get a test to check that out being its the last test before i give up on the medical system haha  ;D

I feel like i have a phantom penis some days lmao, it reminds me of when someone loses a limb and they can sense its there but its really not.. except it just feels gone to me... I can get erections no problem and i havent lost any length or girth, it just has no stability in flaccid state, like something went haywire within the nerves and muscle in the penis and surrounding area.

I wonder the same thing Gabriel haha WTF is this.

I'm starting VED today or tomorrow (that is when my device should arrive). I also have hard flaccid, and plan on using certain tactics such as sitting on the edge of a seat to alleviate the symptoms while pumping.

My question is: If I do manage to somehow pump while in hard flaccid (it comes and goes randomly) is this a bad thing? I have a feeling that at one point in time it will come into play; I literally have to plan all of my traction around the symptoms; start when it is not in effect and immediately stop when it is. Should I avoid pumping with hard flaccid at all costs?

Hi JS!

Sorry I just came back from vacation in Japan, I wish I could have answered sooner, because I surely have the solution to your problem (as you may remember, if I'm not mistaken (??) we are almost the same case: I'm 31, Peyronies Disease for 1 year, cup-shaped plaque all above the top half of my shaft, no curve but big hourglassing and still active).

First of all, YES you definitly can pump with a hard flaccid: you just have to stand (not sit, in my experience), pump slowly, accept and respect your disconfort/size limit (which will be lower than without HF), and try to feel and relax your pelvic muscles (very hard at first but very important).

BUT, second, you also should do what I now do systematically before a VED session: oint and massage for 1 minute your penis with castor oil (which will instantly reduce HF, might help softening superficial plaques a little, and will anyway allow you to pump more easily), or, even better, with my EO & VO mixture (Essential and vegetal oils 2.0 - Peyronies Society Forums), which will totally suppress the HF and give you a big and full hang.

Hope I could help!

All the best,

G

Wow, that was a very helpful reply, thank you! So this mixture COMPLETELY eliminates hard flaccid? How long does this last for before it wears off? Can I put it on and have sex with it? Lol thanks for all the info!

Edit: Also, I believe it would be very hard for me to not gain an erection while massaging my penis for 1-3 minutes with oil. Does the elimination of hard flaccid last long enough for an erection to subside for VED?

You're welcome :-)!

So, for me this mixture (especially tanacetum/frankincense/myrrh + castor oil) eliminates HF for like 4-5 hours if you don't have HF-promoting activites (for me: bowel movement, sitting for a long time, fear... and many more stuff I'm still trying to identify). An example: when I oint my junk in the morning after breakfast, at noon after lunch and at night after dinner or before bed, I count like 80% less HF throughout the day. When I can just oint myself in the morning and night, I have a little more HF coming back in the afternoon, but still less than if I did nothing. The key is really tanacetum annuum, which does the great majority of the trick.

Just two nuances I would like to emphasize: 1) We are in summer and it's quite hot here, so my vision of HF being diminished by EO could be biaised (though I really see a difference between ointment/non-ointment days). 2) I asked myself the same question (LOL), but I really do NOT think you can use this mixture before sex! First, it has a really STRONG smell; second, it is FULL of active principles that should probably NOT enter a vaginal mucosa...

Now, regarding your last question: yes, the elimination of HF lasts long enough for your erection to subside, don't worry. And even if a little HF comes back (it can happen, especially if you psychologically predispose yourself), you'll see it sets back very quickly when your junk is oint with that mixture! Just a tip though: I noticed that the mixture seemed to penetrate and be more efficient when I don't get full erection while massaging (but it's really just a intuitive unjustificable impression, so don't take it for granted at all).

Edit: if you want to make a first idea, just begin with tanacetum annuum EP +a little eucalyptus citriodora EO +castor oil; it'll be relatively cheap and much easier to handle :-)

HF can be cured with complete abstinence (multiple weeks, no erection checking), gentle traction by hand, a low insulin diet, and enzymes to thin the blood. Nattokinase made my penis feel like rubber, it was amazing. I may try it again just to see if it works how well it did!

OMF thanks Neo, I forgot something quite essential: for HF and pain while flaccid, please STOP masturbating! And even consider a period of abstinence, as Neo suggest. Personnally I have like 1 or 2 intercourse per month (very softly): it does not harm that much, although it surely doesn't help... But anyway, absolutely bannish masturbation if you can, that's for sure.

Oh and last tip: do not worry if you get a little HF after traction or VED. That seems to be usual, and goes back to normal after a little moment, especially if you apply the EO/VO mixture right away!!

Gabriel, Thank you I'm going to try that mixture out. The one or two times a month you have sex, how far back do you think it sets you regarding the benefits you receive abstaining?

Neo, Thanks for all the info, the great video and the hard flaccid info, I have a lot of questions. How bad are constant natural erections when abstaining if you don't touch them? Do you suggest not taking Cialis if one is abstaining? Most importantly, roughly how many weeks would you say would suffice for abstinence? Also, have you had any flare ups of hard flaccid since you rid yourself of it with abstinence and proper pelvic floor activity? I recall you saying that you can now orgasm multiple times per day with no problems. Lastly, did you have any sort of soft glans/corpus spongiosum issues at all?

I am trying to balance all of this with a new girl that I've been talking with who sends me pictures all day while I'm on Cialis lol. All without pushing her away, pretty hard stuff but I think I can do it.

Hahaha JS that's indeed hell of a challenge you are facing with this girl  ;D...

Well, about the "setsback" of sex, I must confess I can't really tell... But honestly, with 0 masturbation, I don't think my 1 or 2 monthly very soft intercourses really set me back in the past few months. I may have, sometimes, a little extra pain/soreness lasting for 1-2 days, but nothing terrible. Actually in a few minutes I'm writing a post about a little pain improvement in my PRP/HA thread^^.

And surely, the day after sex more than ever, traction + ointments help a LOT your penis to recover. However, psychologically, stopping masturbation has been for me a tremendous and wonderful discover... but that's another subject!

@Neo, I'm also VERY interested in the pelvic floor matters... I'm suspecting something very weird down there (surely related to lower back pain), although I already saw 2 therapists that couldn't really improve the situation...

I would not worry about nocturnal erections. If you do masturbate, always use lubrication and be gentle. But I still recommend abstinence, or less sexual activity than usual. I have not had hard flaccid for years since correcting my issues. I HAVE had pre-peyronie's flare ups (bending after sex), but that is very very rare, and only happens after masturbation on very very rare occasions. Generally, no real issues. My pelvic floor is something I always have to be aware of. I had a soft glans for several years but it was never small. It was filling up but was not that hard after a VED injury. Now it's basically fine.

That said, nothing will ever be perfect. Even with all my problems, my penis is still a penis, and girls like penises as a concept, if that makes sense.

I can't say much about Cialis since I have never taken it! That sounds awesome about the girl man.

Love your advice Gabriel, oils are definitely helpful for me as well, even just coconut or olive.

For the dosage on nattokinase, I took two 2000 FU capsules. It thinned out my blood so much that I did not feel my heart beat in my chest at all, which was new for me. Now that insulin resistance is gone, I dont feel my heart beat in my chest anymore : ) so that goes to show that IR really does increase blood viscosity (sticky blood that PDS sufferers have). I do not know how Cialis would interact with enzymes such as nattokinase. Be careful with any blood thinning drugs or supplements. Do not take too many.

The best reverse kegels can be achieved by squatting and doing a light kegel, then pushing out, and repeating. Softly tighten your PC muscles, then push out, and sync it up with your breathing. I do this in the shower and it fixes my pre-peyronie's very quickly. You can also do some nice stretches using a wall, or stretching your legs. Stretch the inside of your leg muscles as if you are training to be able to do the splits. This REALLY loosens up your pelvic floor.

Hey just wanted to say thanks for all the replys everyone, i took a little break from the site as it seems i was indulging in my emotions by being on here rather than making true progress. Im in a much better emotional state than i was. My pelvic issues have gotten better which i attibute to better emotional state.

So i definatley have some pelvic tension causing hard flaccid, I will need to try pumping while standing, i havent used my brand new soma pump its still in the box. I seem to have a few lymphayic channels that swell and take a while to go down just from night time erections, ive been nervous to pump.

It seems we do have the same case pretty much Gabriel, my pain\plauqe seems to be in the glans and i have hourglass shape and odd feeling "plaques" on upper half. Nothing seems to have progressed for the worse since my last post which is great! But i do have flare up of pain and firmness of plaques under the glans.. Im starting to thing the plaque in the glans is what is causing the detumescent symptom. Im hoping that pumping will help to eliminate the glans plaques and hourglassing. I've been using your oil mixture gabriel, a partial version of it. It feels good and very detoxifying but it doesnt seem to elimate HF for me which tells me its a pelvic tension\fear thing.

Thanks again everyone ill post an update sometime soon.

Glad you're doing better. Positive state of mind, abstinence, pelvic floor physical therapy and water fasting are the most effective methods for eliminating hard flaccid from what I've read. I can personally attest to the effectiveness of abstaining and positivity.

Hey Dom!

It's nice that you're back, and I'm happy to read those pretty good results, good news man!

For me unfortunately better state of mind, positivity and abstinence didn't cure hard flaccid; the only thing that does is my ointment with EO, for a few hours... Dom, have you been using tanacetum annuum in your mixture (for me it's the HF killer!)?

My mixture consists of myrrh, ecyluptus, frankensence, tanacetum annuum, and i little of all the oils castor, rosehip and emu. It definatley feels good to put on my junk but it doesnt seem to eliminate HF. I feel as if there is something in my low back related to it. Im doing shamanic healing as well which has totally changed my life in many differnet ways other than penis problems.. As i clear different energies, pain that i had in my body for years is seeming to dissapear.. If your interested look up "illumination" by dr.alberto villoldo.

Wanted to add as well, to try ginger root, just buy the whole root and keep some on you all the time, take little nibbles and play with all around your mouth, use water to saturate it, chew it and make it all juicy then swallow it.. Its a huge nerve tonic calms the whole system

Hi Dom,

Well, what you have here looks like a very good combo; I honestly don't understand why you don't see a HF reduction, as for me tanacetum alone + any VO makes me penis hang super soft and long. And I too seem to have problem with my low back related to my penis (e.g.: when I consciously unclench my pelvic muscles, my low back automatically takes a weird and unusual position).

About alternatives medicine and spirituality, I'm open to everything, especially since I have Peyronie's; I do want concrete things though, and remain very cautious about everything until I empirically validate it. Can you/do you want to tell me more about it?

For the ginger, is it really possible to eat raw, like a chewing-gum throughout the day  ;D??? Actually I happen to have added fresh ginger nibbles to my diet 2 weeks ago, and I do love it, although I don't feel any positive health effect. So you're saying I should eat more? What concrete effects can I exactly expect?

Thanks man!

I dont want to get on here and preach about what i believe people should or shouldnt do in regards to spiritality. But from my personal experience what has bumped my healing and allowed me to progress further was by seeing a shamanic healer. You can probably google shamanic healing around your area and find someone that does it, they would be more than happy to explain the process. If you look up Dr. Alberto Villoldo on youtube and read about the luminous energy body that will do a better job of explaining than i can do... Keeping a clean energy field energy body allows for your physical body to work at optimum potential in terms on healing.. Im not saying itll cure peyronies by any means.. But i am saying that many many many illnesses that doctors say are chronic and never can be cured have been resolved through shamanic healing...

As for the ginger i just nibble on it, i feel like it settles my stomach and intestines which would help relax the pelvic area in general. I have no proof of anything besides personal experience.. Ginger is a known nerve tonic so it can only be beneficial in my opinion..
