Hi guys. This is the first time ever for me registering on a forum for health problems. I never thought about doing it before, but here i am. If anyone really wants to help a young guy, please take 5 minutes to read this.

A really brief introduction of myself:
24 years old, from Italy, looking for your support. I heard cases here of people getting rid of this disease, and i am really interested about it because you look really prepared on what you say, even more than many urologists i consulted.

A really brief introduction of my situation:
I am not affected by Peyronie: i haven't got (and never had) any plaque, any lenght reduction, any pain. I'm here because, after an ultrasound from my urologist, he found out that i have a fibrotic tissue of 7mm x 1.7mm on the left upper part of my penis. This caused me a "slight-medium" ED (especially in mantaining the erection..).

The treatments:
After consulting many urologists that said to me that it was only a "psychological problem", i finally found out this urologist that discovered my fibrosis and began to cure me.
This is what he did to me: 22 sessions of 15min each, three times a week, of Verapamil 'injections' with iontophoresis (so he never punctured the penis with needles) + 1 pill a day of "Peironimev Plus" supplement for about 4 months.

After  i completed this cycle, i went for another ultrasound test and found out that my fibrosis had a reduction of about 30%, switching from 7mmx1.7mm to 5mmx1.7mm.
Now he said that we will do another cycle of 10 Verapamil injections with ionthoforesis and then we will check again if there will be another reduction of the fibrotic tissue.

I decided to buy, after reading this forum, Coenzyme Q-10 300mg and take 1 pill a day for 6 months.

What do i need from you?
That's simple: i would really love to have some advices to improve my erection, especially the manteinance issue, and some advices to defeat forever this fibrosis. Did you hear anyone in my situation that recovered totally from this? I have a left bent of about 20°. That never was a problem if i had to penetrate a girl; my major problem is that i want my erection back and i am really scared that my situation can get worse. I love this forum , but all these Peyronies stories really scared me.

Hi tiagofil,
I had not any bent before.
You said that fibrotic tissue can be "broken down". How to do that and what are the results?
You also talked about low dose of Cialis or Viagra. Are they useful for my issue? I've tried "cialis one day" in the past for 2 months, i had an improvement of my erections but still problems with manteinance.

For a new 20 degree curve I'd suggest daily low dose cialis, pentox or coQ10 and traction or VED.  Not sure I'd go through the injections or other expensive treatments he provided (unless covered by insurance).  This will hopefully decrease the curve and fibrosis over several months.  Is the 20 degree curve when you're fully erect?

Thank you for answering.
Do you think that cialis can solve manteinance problem?
Concerning the VED, what are its effects? Are they permanent? What about the risks related to this?
Sorry for the questions but i am totally new to this.

Maybe it's a stretch of language as it probably doesn't break down the fibrous tissue, what injections do is attempt to dissolve the plaque. There are three substances (for lack of a better word) that have good studies, but only one with statystical relevance: Collagenase clostridium histolyticum (CCH) AKA Xiaflex(Xiapex in europe).
The others are Verapamil and Interferon alfa-2b.

Keep in mind that CCH can only be used if you have a palpable plaque, and is recommended for curves >30.

Mention to the doctor your erection maintenance difficulty, and if he can prescribe Cialis. VED helps you to achieve better erections, but also ask your doctor if it's recommended in your case.

Thank you for your reply,
Actually the doctor is curing me with Verapamil via ionthoforesis, and as i said, i had a 30% reduction for now. I really hope to see better result in the next cycle.

I will ask to my doc about the VED. If it really improves ED without causing any damage, i'll give it a try. The same for a low dose Tadalafil; but let's say that i would love to solve this without taking cialis or viagra, but if necessary, i'll take them too.

How did you get peyronie? an injury?

hope794

Comingsoon, i don't know. My penis began to get curved some years ago, about 3.5 years ago if i remember well.
I was really young at 20 and i underestimated the problem, until i began to have a mild ED, about 2 years ago, so i decided to save some money to cure myself (nearly no one in Italy has got an insurance) and now, after 2 years, here i am. That's a pity i didn't began before, but that's it.

with a 20 deg bend you should still have no problem with sex, but its good you have started to look for help, hand stretching and massage may help (that's not masturbation).

I read you Hope, i can relate having the first situation around your age and having a definitely similar situation in bending and erectile "struggle". You started treating very soon, so i most shurely can say that you should be pretty confident! Also i have lived 6 years with doubt and loneliness, which you have written nothing about it, since you are already showing improvements, you should not be afraid of these kind of issues, you can freely approach girls... but mind that you can survive even without! life can get better and brain can adapt to anything!

We first need to obtain a survivor attitude.
