Erection more deformed after first Xiaflex round

I went to John Mulhall at MSC in NYC who is supposed to be good at this.

I've had the condition for exactly a year to the date. My curve wasn't too serve maybe 10-15 degrees but the hinge and hourglass and ED was bad enough in my opinion to seek this kind of treatment. I'm 28.

I've read that it can look worse before it gets better. But does the actual healed erection look worse before it gets better? I'm exactly two weeks post second injection. I barely bruised or swelled after the second injection.

The plaque feels smaller and softer but my erection looks significantly worse. The indentations on each side are much deeper. The light bruise that was there after the injection is still there now two weeks later. One of the doctors there said it will change throuout the injection cycles and didn't seemed too worried about this. I will hear from mulhall tomorrow.

I refuse to resort to surgery if Xiaflex doesn't work.

If Xiaflex doesn't work it's basically all over for me.

Someone please help with some info I'm terrified.

Sometimes after injection I had bruising and swelling which took several weeks to get back to normal.  Is it possible you disease process was worsening anyway, if it wasn't yet stable?  Definitely start traction and VED, which improves success w xiaflex.
PxD 2 yrs 9/16.  Failed all treatment. 9/11/18: excision, grafting & implant Dr Karpman MtnView Ca, AMS CX 18cm + 3-1cm RTEs.
Pump failed.  2/11/20 Dr Karpman installed Titan 22cm +1cm RTE.

I had similar experience, and the traction seemed to help a lot.  I also looked and felt better after traction.  Continue with teh traction and see where you are in a week or so.  Hopefully things will look a lot better by then
55 - Onset May 2017.  38 degree bend up.  Failed Xiaflex treatment.  Still functional so I decided to stop treatments.  Only take 400mg Co-Q10 and occasionally use Restorex

Seems logical if the indentation is due to scar tissue and you eat away the scar tissue with xiaflex.

Probably traction and VED can induce hyperplasia and compensate a bit. But use pentox and everything antifibrotic you can while you do those.

Hanks guys I really appreciate it. It looks like there is a lump and light bruising still at the injection site. Today is exactly two weeks since the injection.

My regime i am starting now is 3 hours of traction, 15 mins VED, and 2.5 cialis per day or sidenifill I have both.

I'll post my results before the next injection cycle.

I spoke with a Mulhall's associate Dr Larry and he said it shows that the medicine is working and they are now concerned. He said Mulhall says they can't determine anything until the ultrasound after the next 2 injections.

I was hoping xiaflex can kill it. My stabilized condition was only 10 degrees up/left, indents on each side, and upward hinge.

Does anyone have improvements on upward hinge? This has the most negative effect on sex in my opinion.

All the best

Mulhall was optimistic about xiaflex improving hinge and indents even though my curve is less than 10 degrees .

I will say Mulhall's overall attitude toward xiaflex is confident.

I spoke with Levine and he doesn't like xiaflex.

Most of the doctors I've talked to didn't take me seriously because of the 10 degrees and my symptoms. Levine included on our phone call. Levine even said with traction and cialis I should be able to get my original penis back after 3/4 months which I thought was an aggressive statement.

Anyway I opted for xiaflex. Mulhall and dr Larry at MSK said "xiaflex will only work or not work"

That it will never worsen your condition. They legit said that so I'm hoping this worsening is temporary
