Getting Started: My action so far

Having read recommendations posted on the forum about the importance of responding quickly in the acute phase, I wanted to share what I have initiated in the past couple of days since realizing I believe I have Peyronies.  So far my symptoms include a dull ache (no actual pain) hour glass constriction and slight curvature when erect (only a bit noticeable when flaccid).

Specialist: I made an appointment with a local specialist that was recommended on the forum for late next week.

OTC Medication: I purchased and started using the over the counter meds recommended including Ubiquinol, Carnitine, and Arginine.

Heating Pad: I use a heating pad about 3 times a day. Helps with discomfort.

Manual Traction: Following the 3 heating pad sessions, I perform manual traction for about 5 minutes (total of about 15 mins each day so far. I will cautiously increase).

I will hold off on anything else until I see the doctor, but at least I feel as though I am taking action.  I'm open to other suggestions I could easily incorporate in the meantime.

A couple of questions:

1.  This all started because I felt pressure to urinate, which originally made me think I had a urinary tract situation. I now believe I was misinterpreting the constricting sensation as pressure. However, is this typical and has anyone else had this experience?
2. Since the most notable impact is when I am erect, I find that I am trying to erect each day so I can monitor the situation. I've noticed it is easier to do when standing, or kneeling. When I lay down, I noticed that my penis will not stand up at attention as it would previously. Instead, it sort of flops over right where the hourglass construction is. Is that typical?

Thank you in advance.

It's official as of today. I'm a member of the Bent Boys Club. Do I get a t-shirt or something?

The specialist was very nice, and made the process comfortable as can be. He seemed to genuinely care. If in Arizona and need a doc, let me know.

He commended me for educating myself and taking action (thank you, guys!). He encouraged me to continue the supplements, continue heat therapy and manual traction. I added natural antioxidants such as blueberries to my diet. He suggested I add vitamin E. He gave me prescriptions for Cialis and Pentox. In 3 moths I see him again. I'm to bring monthly pics (flaccid and erect). I had some w me today. He also gave me a protractor to keep record. If I worsen, I am to see him sooner and we will increase treatment. I've noticed no change in the past month.

I estimate this started about January this year (2018). At 6 months out, I'm at a little less than 30% curvature toward my left when erect, by today's measurement. Not noticeable when flaccid. No loss of flaccid length, though some loss when erect and bent. No pain, just slight discomfort regardless if flaccid or erect.

Given current stats and my efforts, he is hopeful I won't progress more, if I continue being diligent. Once stable, perhaps next year, he thinks injection will help lessen curvature. Fingers crossed I can continue to hold stable for now.

I will update along the way. Much appreciation to you gents for your guidance and info. I'm sure more questions to follow.

Entertain the idea of seeking advice from someone in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Specifically, one that specializes in biofeedback and trigger points of the pelvis. You'll know you have a credible specialist if they acknowledge your symptoms, in relation to peyronie's, and are confident in explaining how it's all relative as well as addressing other issues that may be present that you're unaware of. Asking your treating uro would be a good start in getting a referral.
Best of luck to you.

Bro if i were you I would look at starting H-100 cream ASAP..I'm on it right now but this is made for those in acute phase really.  If you want something that is going to penetrate your into your dick and be strong anti inflammatory then this is it...just my thoughts.  If this were around when mine started i wouldn't hesitate to spend the $800 for 3 months if there was a chance it could prevent some curvature.

This is all new to me. I've not run across the term  H-100. Can you please explain what it is, what it does and how it would benefit?  Thank you.
