In addition to Pentoxide I have been subscribed the following :
hyaluronic acid 60 mg
Superoxide Dismutase-Gliadin 300 mg
Vitimin e 30 mg
selenium 50 mg
Zinc 15 mg
Vitamin d 5mg
Vitamin c 160mg

I'm on all the usual supliments (ALC, Coq10, l-arginine) bit this mix is a bit different.

It's pricey (100 dollars for 2 months) so am hesitating.

Thoughts?

Hi Noncom,

I guess you must be talking about the Fibrotek supplement, from Biotek laboratories.

My main uro (Dr Galiano, in Paris) prescribed it to me when my Peyronies Disease started; I've been taking it ever since (6 - 7 months), in addition to pentox, arginine, low dose cialis, ALCAR, gotu kola, pycnogenol, vit K12, VED + traction and topical ointment (vit E, olive oil, emu oil).

Now I'm free of pain while flaccid, but I honestly can't tell if the Fibrotek played a role in this. Plus, my erect pain, plaque size and deformation have only been worsening from the beginning; but as always, maybe it would have been even worse without all this stuff.

One thing is sure: in theory, all the ingredients in the Fibrotek are known to play a positive role in preventing or reducing fibrosis. Whether it will work for you or not, no one will never be able to tell. I would say it may be worth to try it for a few months; but it's your call !
- 35 yo, Peyronies Disease with chronic pain, general hourglassing with girth and length loss since 09/01/17.
- Pain almost cured with Hirudoid cream and diet/lifestyle changes (see my topics on this); deformity still here, but partly reduced with traction + VED.

You called it right there! Can't help but wonder if this is really effective given that I have not found much on the forums around this, but I guess it falls into the likely won't hurt category. I've got.more hopes on finally getting some Pentox which does seem to have  had good results for many.

You may want to add glutathione to boost SOD naturally, also low dose copper and manganese  :)

While supplementation with SOD-gliadin may be beneficial for maintaining extracellular SOD levels under certain conditions, SOD cannot enter cells and affect intracellular levels because of its large molecular size  :-\

do you please have a source for this statement?

i wonder why they put SOD in the H-100 if this is true... unless it's encapsulated into something that makes it easier to penetrate cells...

Hi pey ron, below is the webpage that information came from, interesting article, 3 different types of SOD listed

Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) And Its Role In Maintaining Glutathione Levels

R-Lipoic Acid is fantastic for maintaining Glutathione levels and I feel great taking it, highly recommended  :)

Please respond, and I always appreciate it when you do  :)

You're right Noncom, Fibrotek is exactly in the "won't hurt category"...

Peyron, I don't have a link because I print and send them a shipping form by postal way, along with a check. But I can give you their number (they seem to be French though^^) : 0144262280. But honestly I don't recommend you to consider these supplements as a new miracle possibility !

Can you at least please post a photo of the label with the ingredients?

How have you been doing?

Hey Pey Ron,

Here you go (hope the attachments will work, I'm a big noob about posting pictures here)!

*Be careful: Fibrotek's ingredients are the ones which Noncom listed, excepted that Vit. E and D are expressed in micrograms.

And as far as I'm concerned, nothing to report unfortunately! I'm writing a post about it in the PRP/HA injection thread.

Bye guys!
